Ms. Kubec received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She was a Moot Court oral finalist while attending law school at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.

Since her admission to the California Bar, Ms. Kubec has practiced as a defense attorney in a wide variety of practice areas including legal malpractice, general liability, and professional errors & omissions.  Since approximately 2000, she has focused primarily on the defense of employers in a wide variety of employment practices matters, including wage and hour disputes, administrative charges, as well as litigation matters.

Ms. Kubec has also had the opportunity to assist employers directly by drafting employee manuals, providing advice on disciplinary measures, and assisting with reductions in force.  In addition, Ms. Kubec has worked as house counsel for an insurance company and had the unique opportunity to gain insight into the day-to-day operations of an insurance company while representing the insurance company's clients in a traditional tripartite relationship.
